Our Learning Environments

Green Room

Green room is our space for children aged 6 to 24 months. Routines are generally organised around mealtimes and sleeping. They are offered age appropriate opportunities to enjoy activities such as construction, creative arts, sand and water play and singing and dancing . Materials that are open to the imagination, such as boxes, tins, tubes- filled or empty- are used for experiments and explorations. The children also get to enjoy our large outdoor environment and soft- play area.
Yellow Room

Yellow room is our space for toddlers aged between 2 and 3 years. It is a step up from the babies' environment in terms of structure, and children are encouraged to participate in pre-planned activities such as painting, basic numeracy and themed water play. We follow children's interests, and there is always time for spontaneous play. There is also the option to participate in Spanish and dance lessons led by peripatetic teachers. Yellow room has regular access to our large outdoor learning environment.

Blue and Purple Rooms

The blue and purple rooms are our pre-school bases. This is the final step children take before entering school. In these rooms, children are encouraged to participate in structured activities that aim to prepare them for their transition to school. Typically these include circle time and numeracy and literacy based activities. We provide the option to participate in Spanish and dance lessons led by peripatetic teachers.
Pre-schoolers are also allotted time for free play, enhanced by their proximity to the outdoor learning environment.
